Documentary Photography - Small Family Members
In my mother tongue, we always describe super tierd as " busy as a dog" or "tired as a dog". Few days ago, after my aunt came back from her welding class, she complained about how heavy her work is, and said, "What does 'tired as a dog' actually means?! Look at them, they live much more relaxed than human being!"
Well, my darling, my dear aunt, I don't know the answer, but our dogs actually are enjoying their life. As small dogs, they don't need us to walk them every day like large dogs, what they like to do in the warm afternoon is just sleeping in the sofa, which is now more likely their beds. Once I sit in the sofa, there must be at least one dog coming to sit on me, which is good, at least I feel warm.
That's basically why I choose to take pictures of them. During this specail year, I lost my job, my aunt chose to study this hard work, my grandma plant veg for us instead we went to supermarket frequently, my cousin got trouble in her online studying; but after all, our dogs just stay in their place, and share their warm and cosy to us, that's what a family need. They are our family.
